Define the standard home precisely
Write the base specification as an equipment and function schedule. Identify which controls, circuits, network provisions and accounts are included. Separate an installed feature from a future provision so the buyer can understand what is delivered at possession.
Pilot before repeating
Commission a representative unit and test the actual buyer routines. Record the installation labour, access needs and recurring configuration tasks. Include the support team in the trial; a system that is easy to demonstrate but difficult to maintain can create avoidable defects work.
Plan the change of owner
Document account creation, installer access removal and transfer of manuals and warranties. Price optional upgrades transparently and identify who contracts for them. Have the project team reconcile published specifications with its applicable property disclosures and professional advice.
Current information to check
MoHUA tracks projects and agents registered under RERA. Use the relevant state authority for project-specific checks; a smart-home package is not evidence of property approval or compliance.
