How to compare up to three quotes
Ask each provider for a customer JSON export from the quotation builder, or for an itemised quote in the same format. Import the files here. The tool lines up rows that share a room and scope reference, so the same lighting group, curtain motor or keypad appears side by side across proposals. It totals the included lines and the optional lines separately and flags any included item without a quantity or amount. Read the summary cards for validity, warranty, payment and exclusions, then turn every “Missing” or “Amount TBC” cell into a written question for that provider.
How do I compare home automation quotations?
Put them on the same rows: scope item by item, then included total, optional items, GST, warranty, payment terms, validity and exclusions. Treat anything a quote does not state as unknown, not zero, and ask the provider in writing.
Which files can I compare?
Customer JSON exports from Nexoforma’s quotation builder, up to three at a time. For PDFs or photos of quotes, use the quotation comparison sheet or check each quote with Ved’s quote checker.
Are my quotations uploaded?
No. Files are read in your browser and are not uploaded by this tool.
What this comparison can tell you
It aligns rows by the provider’s room and scope reference, calculates totals from the exported line values, and keeps missing quantities, prices, optional items and exclusions visible. A lower equipment subtotal is not a saving when another proposal includes installation, programming or support.
What it cannot verify
A customer JSON file is a copy supplied by a provider. Nexoforma does not confirm the business, model availability, tax treatment, compatibility, installation quality or warranty promise. Ask each provider to confirm the same written scope and current terms before choosing.
