Resolve interfaces before finishes
Mark control positions against furniture, door swings and joinery. Coordinate lighting drivers, curtain pelmets, AV ventilation and equipment access with the specialist teams. A device mood board becomes useful only when someone owns the installation detail behind each selection.
Use a shared issue register
Record design assumptions, dependencies, responsible people and approval dates. Request a sample room for interfaces that will be repeated. Keep changes to light fittings, door hardware or AC equipment visible to the automation designer, because apparently small substitutions can affect integration.
Specify deliverables and handover
Agree which professional produces the points schedule, network plan, final device register and configuration backup. Include household training and a defects process spanning more than one trade. Architects can apply to the Nexoforma network; applications are reviewed before any public profile is offered.
Current information to check
DALI-2 certification is checked at the product level. Ask the lighting and automation teams to reconcile the specified driver and control components before procurement substitutions are approved.
